ACA Management by 9th.com supports the new SLSA Rankings and offers assistance to Yacht Clubs, RDs and volunteers seeking to get involved. Read more on the ACA Racer blog:

To date, three ACA-class “graded events” are on the SLSA Rankings Calendar; Quirky, Don and Astro will host regular ACA regattas, the first of which will take place today Friday March 5 at 6 PM SLT.

The current ACA-class events in the SLSA Rankings Calendar are:

  • Starting Friday March 5 at 6 PM SLT: bi-monthly graded events hosted by Quirky/NYC
  • Starting Sunday 7th at 1 PM: weekly graded events hosted by Don/GGYC
  • Starting Tuesday 16th at 4 PM: bi-monthly graded event hosted by Astro/NYC

Bea’s Note: To date, 12 RDs or YCs have pledged to hold regular races and the results will count towards the rankings. Flying Fizz, ACA, RCJ44 and Patchogue rankings have been launched. There is still lot of room for more races and classes to participate in the Rankings! The more volunteers we have, the more value there will be in the Rankings system - and the more respect you’ll show to the participants. More races also means more time zone coverage, allowing sailors to participate  more easily. As they say, there is a time for words, one for actions - let’s get the ball rolling!
